The Volvo XC60 will undergo a facelift

Sweden's Volvo's mid-size SUV , the XC60 , is about halfway through its life cycle. And before a completely new generation arrives, it is logically time for modernization . In the case of the XC60, this will be quite extensive.

It was revealed to us by photos of the prototype, which is currently devouring test kilometers on Chinese roads . Certainly the biggest change will be the front part, where the much-discussed but original double headlights will disappear. The classic, one-piece will take their place. The radiator grille will also be new, the front bumper with vertically positioned fog lights and the rear will get more chrome.

The interior will undergo more minor modifications and its concept will be closer to the new V40 hatchback in details. In practice, this primarily means a new instrument panel, which will be dominated by a central speedometer.

The modernized XC60 should appear very soon, according to the degree of camouflage. Whether it will be in Detroit or later in Geneva or perhaps at one of the Chinese auto shows , that is only in Volvo's internal materials for now.
