The Camaro will get new engines

Chevrolet is gradually preparing for the arrival of the new generation Camaro muscle car. But before that happens, it is necessary to revive interest in the existing model. That's why the Camaro will get two new engines already next year.

At least that's according to leaked GM service documentation that was supposed to be for internal use only. All models and engines are listed here under VIN codes.

If you unlock the Camaro, you will find that under its hood you should see a unit labeled LS7 , which is nothing more than a 7-liter V8 that is installed in the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 . Performance is not yet clear, but it will most likely remain at 513 horses as in the Z06. The model with the LS7 engine could get the legendary Z28 designation and it will hierarchically rank below the most powerful version with the ZL1 designation.

However, changes will also happen at the other end of the offer! The basic six-cylinder 3.6 can now burn E85, and watch out, its more powerful Twin Turbo version will also arrive! So it means double turbocharging and a performance of around 355 horses !
