MG celebrates success in the BTCC with a special edition Model 6

The once famous British car manufacturer MG is now in the hands of the Chinese , who want to bring it back to automotive prominence. Participation in the BTCC British Touring Car Championship is also to help them in this.

This year, the car company took third place in the Drivers' Cup thanks to Jason Plato . It's clear that this achievement needs to be celebrated, so here we have a limited edition 6 sedan.

Compared to the base model, the BTCC Edition differs by 18-inch wheels, the use of only two colors ( Arctic White and Union Blue ) in combination with a black roof, a discreet rear spoiler, side skirts and front and rear "lollipop" on the bumper. Of course, there are the logos of the BTCC and also of the MG KX Momentum racing team.

In addition to a sportier design, the BTCC Edition also has richer standard equipment including navigation, sports seats, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, fog lights, rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring, a CD/MP3 radio and a leather multifunction steering wheel.

Under the hood, there is a single, unboosted 1.8-liter engine that is doped with a turbocharger and has a power of 160 horsepower . Its maximum speed is limited to 193 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in 8.4 seconds.

The price of the BTCC Edition was set at 16,995 pounds (approx. 528,000 CZK).
