Peugeot 5008 underwent a facelift, the premiere will be in Frankfurt

The family MPV from the land of the Gallic rooster is currently at the halfway point of its life, so it is not surprising that the Peugeot 5008 will undergo a modernization and thus become closer to the new models in the brand's portfolio. It was a surprise to Frankfurt, but unfortunately, the first information and photos have already leaked onto the Internet today.

The Peugeot 5008 with the 2014 model year will have its premiere at the Frankfurt exhibition center and will stand on the stand next to the new 308 and its sharp version 308 R or the conceptual 208 Hybrid Fe . In terms of design, the modernized 5008 follows in the footsteps of the small 208 , so it will offer a typical mask and also updated headlights, in return from the 2008 crossover . On the contrary, the rear has hardly changed, only the rear lamps were inspired by the Citroën C6 . The set of alloy wheels will be 16-18 inches in size, including 17-inch Anthra Gray ones, and of course chrome elements will be added.

The interior of the car also shines with freshness. The driver will be especially excited about the head-up display, which will display important information about speed, cruise control and other options. Rear seat passengers will be delighted by the seven-inch screens in the front seat backrests, with headphones and Bluetooth connectivity available.

The engine range will include three gasoline and four diesel power units, which will be connected to a manual, automatic or ETG transmission. In the updated Peugeot 5008 , we can therefore find the basic 1.6 VTi (120 hp), 1.6 THP (155 hp and 163 hp). Diesel fans can choose between the 1.6 e-HDi/1.6 HDi (115 hp) and the 2.0 HDi (150 and 163 hp).
