The BMW 2 Series received the M Performance package

Although the two- seater coupe from BMW will not come to the market until the spring of next year, the Munich automaker has already managed to treat it to the styling and technical core of the M Performance division in advance.

Visually, the 2 M Performance series is best recognized by the body kit, which consists of a new front bumper with larger air vents, side skirts, a new diffuser and a discreet spoiler on the trunk lid. The wheels have a new size of nineteen inches , and for strong individuality, BMW also offers black kidney rings, carbon mirror covers, contrasting "fast" stripes or discreet M Performance logos on the door sills. The interior received Alcantara upholstery, carbon decor on the steering wheel, center console or door panels and metal pedals.

Owners of the 220d diesel version will be especially enthusiastic about the technical modifications, the power of which has increased compared to the series by 16 hp and the torque by 40 Nm to 200 hp and 420 Nm. The top-of-the-range M235i can be equipped with a limited-slip differential and a special muffler to allow the engine to be "louder". For all versions, a sporty brake system lowered by 20 mm, modified chassis with yellow, red or orange calipers and an exhaust tip in chrome or carbon are also available.
