Toyota presents the second form of the C-HR concept

Toyota already brought the concept of the C-HR small SUV to last year's Paris Motor Show. This year, an updated version premieres in Frankfurt, which, according to the automaker itself, is much closer to serial production.

Five doors , gray body paint with a shiny black roof and 21-inch wheels in a far less futuristic design represent a fundamental change. Also gone are the front and rear structured lights , replaced by reflectors of a much more conventional shape. However, the LEDs have been retained, as has the application of the Keen Look and Under Priority styles.

Under the jacket, we find the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform with greater rigidity and better driving stability. The drive is handled by a hybrid device with a thermal efficiency of over 40 percent. Similar to the new Prius, the powertrain itself, including the batteries, has been reduced and lightened.

The fact that the C-HR is damn close to serial production is also proven by the fact that we will see it in Geneva in six months.
