Paul Walker died in a car accident

American actor and petrolhead Paul Walker died yesterday afternoon in a car accident in a Porsche Carrera GT .

The likable Paul Walker , who most car enthusiasts know primarily from the Fast and Furious film series, died yesterday afternoon in California around 3:30 p.m. local time. The actor participated in the charity event of his organization Reach Out Worldwide , which included the participation of Always Evolving , which owned the Porsche Carrera GT . In this car, Roger Rodas , a racing driver among others, went for a drive, taking Paul Walker with him as a passenger.

The accident happened on Hercules Street, where the Carrera GT crashed into a street lamp post, then a tree, and burst into flames moments later. Eyewitnesses tried to extinguish the car with their own fire extinguishers, but were unsuccessful . By the time the firefighters arrived at the scene, it was already too late . Walker and Rodas were unable to get out of the car and both died .
