Mini introduces the new Clubman

Until now, the largest representative of the Mini family (if this name can still be used at all) was the five-door, five-seater SUV Countryman . However, with the arrival of the new Clubman , the off-road model is surpassed and another of the many myths destroyed.

If the previous generation was still rather a stylish stagecoach for city traffic, then the newcomer with a length of 4253 mm , a width of 1800 mm, a height of 1441 mm, a wheelbase of 2670 mm and, above all, four full-size doors is a pure family model. In fact, the only element that has been preserved is the fifth double-leaf door with the option of remote electronic control, behind which hides 360 liters of luggage space . In addition, the second row of seats can be folded as standard in a ratio of 60:40 (40:20:40 for an extra charge), which creates a volume of 1250 liters.

The appearance of the body fully corresponds to the concept presented last year, including large rear LED headlights in a chrome frame. When it comes to LEDs , Mini also boasts daytime running lights, front reflectors, fog lamps and indicators with this technology. The interior is taken from a three- or five-door hatchback and boasts a central multimedia system screen with an LED ring. The standard equipment will include, among other things, air conditioning, six airbags or a radio with USB and Aux, among the extras there will be a head-up display, road sign reading, a pre-collision system, parking assistant, panoramic roof, two-zone automatic air conditioning, navigation, Harman Kardon audio, active DCC shock absorbers or the Mid, Sport and Green drive mode selector .
